@cwebber Imagine having over 1,000,000,000 dollars and being triggered by anything this mundane. Like, man, you could end so much suffering simply by inserting a credit card into the right slot.

@deech There's a meme I've see circulated not nearly enough wherein a cartoon figure tries to show Elmo how wonderful his life could be, thanks to how obscenely wealthy he is.

In the second frame, Elmo is a naked, filthy madman hammering a mobile phone while screaming, "The people on this fucking website refuse to call me the Meme Maestro!"

There's something extremely and very seriously wrong with the man.

@cwebber Tim Sweeney’s “up yours” double entendre has big “worst person you know just made a great point” energy.

    But yeah—right on, Kenney.

@cwebber Does 'Tim not nice but Dim' realise they are implicitly stating that they do, in fact, produce slop and that slop is the future with their reply?

@cwebber CEOs are truly exceptional. In addition to managing and directing their companies (golf) they also personally reply to every mildly critical tweet

    @cwebber
I'm absolutely not going to register with BlueSky or godforbid X again but in case @kenney reads this during one of his acive days on Mastodon again:
    You rule! 😂

@cwebber It seems like he’s either saying coders don’t need to work a full day or CEOs don’t need to work a full day since he has time to do both. Also, if he’s getting paid to be CEO and he’s spending time coding, isn’t he wasting the company’s money since he’s probably paying the coders a fraction of what he makes? If so, then maybe the coders also deserve more money.

@cwebber to also be fair ... Epic was arguably the company helped a lot with the final push to Blender's professional development with being the first major big name company to donate several million via the MegaGrants.

Tim *does* do good things and I think it's fair to give credit for that. But oh boy when he's wrong he is so wrong!
Being right on a few really major things and doing something really good doesn't mean any thought or action is like that. And it's sad he doesn't seem to see that.

@cwebber I don't really care who's right here. But man, do polish your language Mr business "leader".

Or is this the new testosterone fueled "masculinity" bros like Zuckerberg and Hegseth are all about?

@cwebber It's interesting that Musk shares wild polarity, along with current Milakovitch Cycles being on full-tilt. It fits the current US Admin's authoritarian autocracy state, perfectly.

This spells far more misery to come, for the 99%.

    - just consume

learning second language - stupid and useless
reading books - stupid and useless
learning to draw - stupid and useless
learning art of code - stupid and useless
learning any actual skill - stupid and useless

    okey

@cwebber Musk and Sweeney are wonderful demonstrations of the inevitability of "hallucination" in any putative "intelligence" of any form. Biological models do it too.
