Wanna feel old? Remember 613? That was 1413 years ago.

My local gamedev scene moved en masse to bluesky a few years ago and, of course, all they got was the same structural corporate problems of twitter... sad to watch history repeating

If you cry when you cut an onion, here’s a tip:

Don’t get emotionally attached.

Late night snack with a lot of spice. Leftover trail mix in case I got stranded in an airport. It's pretty good, it's what's around. If I drizzled it with warm oil or melted butter....

Goddamnit, the worst person in the world has built a super cool flying car. Yes it's useless as a car but it is undeniably impressive.

AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH

i worry a lot and maybe that's why i don't get eight hours of sleep

Today was unseasonably warm.
As Summer and I watched the sunset we noticed that the sky even looked toasty.
Clouds of tiny flies hatched by the hot weather swarmed our space and chased us into the house.
I am ready for rains to clear the air, water the dry fields and turn Humboldt County green again.
Summer moved around between the coolest spots in the house all day. She is not a warm weather dog and is smart to stay out of the sun.
The forecast for tomorrow promises the temperature will go down.
We both hope so.

For some reason, this made me cry a little.

Guy friendship ... the completely unscientific and entirely made up 8 levels.

I did five sets of ten pushups yesterday. It's been a decently long time since I've managed that. Not sure if I should do any today (fewer, certainly. or maybe deloaded, via incline?) or just rest.

I’m piping a software-defined radio through #plugdata and holy crap I don’t know what I found here, but it’s sure great.

A little like living on a comet?

Also, controlling things like this with real knobs is really fun.

Not as much fun as it will be to control it with the light from a projector though.

Edit: I recorded a pretty good track like this, though it was much more first draft. It’s: https://compressionartifact.bandcamp.com/track/wattage-truth-double-pendulum

AAAHHHHHH

I'm no expert, but I think I might need a new battery.

I was starting the truck and as soon as I turned the key, there was a loud bang! and an acrid smell. The truck still runs since it has four batteries, but I will have them all replaced tomorrow.
