I am on a bit of a rage about it today, because I'm seeing it crop up everywhere and it is already impacting lives.
It isn't that some generalizations are correct, or that segments of the population aren't responsible for certain things, but being cognizant that it can also be a tool to dehumanize or undermine people is important.

I liked a term Pirsig used in 'Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance' (good book, has aged well)The term was 'dialectic knife'. Slicing things in half for discussion.
We could choose a variety of knives.We could say men wanted Trump as easily as olds, or whites and get roughly the same truthiness.
Dialectics can be useful but like any knife, should be handled with care.

There might be huge demand for gpus but far less for the services themselves. This is without getting into the misleading investors side of it.

I do think the answer to "Where are all the GPUs?" is as simple as a American tech giants Microsoft, Alphabet, Amazon, Meta, and Oracle collectively $690 billion on a massive data center buildout this year. You can't just build massive gigantic gigawatt data centers overnight. You need concrete and steel and bulldozers and cranes and a lot of different things and materials. There's bound to be long delays when so much money is chasing all of it at the same time.
Lots of GPUs won't have come around by the time OpenAi and the rest of the "AI" companies declare bankruptcy due to nowhere near enough people willing to pay anything near cost for it.

want to make a lot of money from a tech start-up? make computers, servers, and such with built-in AI filters.
for example - blocking Google, Chrome, Alphabet, Facebook, Firefox, Microsoft everything, everything Apple, and so on. start over, from scratch.
might have to start with recycled semiconductors em., though.
