This sounds like a really cool place. Sort of like the Renaissance Festivals we have here in the US, but on a longer term.
These kind of places are also really cool because they'll employ a lot of actors and technicians and stunt people and build a pipeline for those roles. All of which can't really be done well by AI.

oh snap, i can see tiny bits of my cover cover crops starting!
I think I've been ingesting too much horror. An ice cream truck started up its music right outside my house and I nearly jumped off the sofa.
I think I might find it easier to watch Hostel, but as someone who loves documentaries the success of You Can See Everything is truly remarkable. https://variety.com/2026/film/box-office/you-can-see-everything-box-office-nathan-fielder-elizabeth-holmes-huge-start-1236915640/
We had a legasequel weekend: Practical Magic 2, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, and Naked Gun (2025). They were certainly three #movies we watched!

oh yeah, as a cyclist and someone who has been hit by a car in recent years, I am also very pleased with the results from this traffic safety standpoint. really hope we can see some changes in road safety and infrastructure that protects cyclists & pedestrians.
I think on the last council only 1 person I voted for got in, and this time it was 6 people by my count!
I am so happy by last night's results. We really needed a change and I think it's fair to expect things to turn around for renters, artists, and transit users
I am sad OneCity did poorly on council and only reelected Lucy but it is what it is. I am really stoked about the 4 COPE councilors especially and I think they will bring a lot to this council.

You know how making plans is important because it gives you something to look forward to? We booked tickets in comfy chair for You Can See Everything today and it's sincerely the only thing that's kept me going this week.
Mike Flanagan's 'Carrie' series has been so good.
I mean, I was predisposed to liking it, since I have enjoyed everything I've seen from him, but this is just fantastic.
The slow ratcheting of the tension that is building to the pressure explosion we all know is coming is nerve-wracking. The performances are all top-notch.
Well the plan actually worked this time.
Still a really bad movie.
Good soundtrack for it though.
So after nearly 5 sequels, we're back to the exact same plan as the first movie.
Because that worked so well then.
Ahh. 1991. When having Roseanne Barr and Tom Arnold as cameos seemed like a casting coup.
My box set did not come with 3D glasses, even though the back cover says it did.
So I'm watching this in 2D like a pleb.
Honestly, I don't know if I would want to experience 3D from 1991.
Tonight I'm on to Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare.
Of course, my box set has one more after this, so it's final in the same way that Final Fantasy has 16 main numbered entries.
We're into the early 90s now! And whatever that will entail.
Oh look! Computer generated text saying everyone in Springwood is mostly dead!
I was very tickled by Armando Ianucci describing a fetish as a “branch of pornography” on the latest Taskmaster Podcast. https://youtu.be/VgMBADaa9M0
