Mike Flanagan's 'Carrie' series has been so good.
I mean, I was predisposed to liking it, since I have enjoyed everything I've seen from him, but this is just fantastic.
The slow ratcheting of the tension that is building to the pressure explosion we all know is coming is nerve-wracking. The performances are all top-notch.
@fskornia Same here. I started watching yesterday. Had planned to watch an episode a night. Ended up binging four episodes and I expect to finish the remaining four tonight.
@rbroekman I had expected them to release maybe 2-3 episodes at first and then weekly releases. So after I watched the first episode and saw they had released all 8, I said "Crap, I'm going to have to pace myself". It's been hard, but I have 2 episodes left now, and they'll probably get watched tonight
