I don't want flying cars.
I want clean water.
I want a stable climate.
I want bees to survive.
I don't want flying cars.
I want clean water.
I want a stable climate.
I want bees to survive.
Who cares what we want when they know what we need.
@Saupreiss @nickofnz If they truly knew what we needed, they'd have liquidated and donated all their assets to the public and impersonated chandeliers by now.
Actually a re-translated line from the German Clockwork Orange Soundtracks lyrics. 😂
Here you go. (English Version which has that exact line.)
@Saupreiss @mast0d0nphan @nickofnz
Thank you very, very much!
German lyrics are quite different though, but translators will provide hints.
@Saupreiss @mast0d0nphan @nickofnz
You're feeding my interest in learning german.
I need something to focus my mind into.
I'll listen to them, I know very little german music.
Thank again.
@tulainas Quite a challenge I heard.
As for the band, they changed a lot over the decades and are now quite mainstream (and on their final tour afaik).
Here's a possible solution. Let's improve it collectively, and maybe we can reduce pollution, take care of the Earth, and make for better quality of life.
@Random_Seed @ashwin @nickofnz I can't remember ever met a single "real human".
@Random_Seed @ashwin @nickofnz Is that better or worse than an angular square?
Yes, that's pretty much what I suggested. One can remain in one's own vehicle, to nap, or have alone time. Or go to the social lounge to hang out with others.
That's only when the vehicles are enqueued in a convoy and being towed long distance.
At the destination, they get dequeued, and you can drive around yourself, as you like.
@nickofnz I want a flying car but I need the other things first. Flying car is maybe a nice to have, maybe. The other things are necessities.
@jeffmcneill @nickofnz I do not want flying cars. A large number of the drivers I encounter don’t do well in the current style of motor vehicle with tires on road. The idea of them being airborne is horrifying.
@CatDragon @nickofnz Absolutely, but there may be a nice use case akin to light aircraft. Highly regulated.
@jeffmcneill @nickofnz rich idiots bypass regulations
@CatDragon @nickofnz not with light planes
@nickofnz we need a t-shirt with that
@nickofnz i can not agree more. From the bottom of my heart ❤️
@nickofnz
I want full size pockets in my jeans that don't cost me extra money.
@nickofnz Well, these are just “soft-falling,” publicity-stunt cars using 1950s tech.
@nickofnz I could accept flying cars, if they were tested on billionaires.
The rich want flying cars to make it harder for the masses dying from lack of water and weather chaos to pull them from their cars and beat them into a bloody pulp
@nickofnz Forget flying cars - AI is making all of these things we want more endangered and more expensive.
@nickofnz All this and also I don't want the average person driving in the sky
@nickofnz Amen. Or foldable lcd screens, or a smart c***k ring that also monitors my a**ole.
I want sustainable energy storage. Not batteries as we know them. Batteries are NOT sustainable. Everything is about energy. Everything hinges on a sustainable energy storage technology.
@nickofnz Yeah, but some rich people want more money.
And they've got more money than you to make enough noise and publicity to make other people people they want the flying cars that'll make them money.
But then again the day when two Tesla owners die in a midair collision has gotten that much closer.
We could have had both.
@nickofnz Let them eat flying cars.
@nickofnz Translations:
I don't want to be poisoned
I don't want to get a heat stroke or high electricity costs
I want (affordable) fresh food
