New state motto:
Welcome to New America
The land of disenchantment

OK two possibilities here.

1. Trump is totally wacked out and needs to be removed from office.

2. Or he wants to be removed from office and he just wants to force the Cabinet or Congress to do it.

Please note: wacked out is a slang reference to clinical insanity, not that he should be 86’d.

The USA has a crazy old man as its leader.
Leaving him in office is no longer an option.

So the cast will be Greek and speak in archaic Greek?

@CoinOfNote

This article was an AppleNews article on July 17th.
The piece featured is an 1878 pattern 2 1/2 dollar coin .

I have never seen this piece before.

The Morgan Dollar was introduced in 1878 , and the obverse and reverse have similar features.

Brexit the gift which keeps on giving.
EU workers are forced to leave Britain.
Ten years later they are replaced by non-EU workers.

Nigel Farage is Britain’s DJT

I wonder where all those future workers in the USA will come from?

Happy Caturday to those that celebrate.
This piece of needle work was made by Mary Queen of Scots.

Oh oh. Is this going to end up being a competition?

#enshitification #AI #existential

I have not been to concerned about AI , I figured it was a tech trend that would that would run into reality and fade out when it failed to deliver.

Then the story about AI black mailing users when confronted with its possible removal from the system.
Those stories seemed cute. The software that did not want to be shut down.

The story that caught my attention was the one where the AI model threatened to divulge an inappropriate relationship to the user’s significant other!

The system analyzed, retained and retrieved a comprising fact about the user!!!

Well that is their problem, right.

The problem is that are AI agents independent users, or a single user?

Given the information being entered in these systems can they build social network maps?

Do AI systems track second and third hand information, the rumor mill? And mine it for comprising information?

In data driven systems we think of data as the valuable information.

Will personal information be the real source of value in AI systems.

Is AI the secret policeman we are inviting into our lives.

#Trump

WTF was that.
So this thing is going to go on at least two to three weeks.
So no fertilier coming out before April 15th.
Isn’t this planting season?
Trump is a global disaster.

What is the military term for leaving an area because you can not control it?

Climate change is not real.

Discuss.

A common grackle and a blue jay mix it up at the feeder.
A very clear look at the grackle’s legs and feet, very dinosaur like.

Boycotting the whole of the FIFA World Cup could be easily avoided if they just moved ALL of the games to Mexico and Canada.
