    Stephen Miller terrorized, kidnapped, and murdered my neighbors.

    This is not some vague figurative sloganeering thing. I can take you on a walk from my house and point out the spots where they took people. I know multiple people who had relatives abducted by ICE, including citizens. My wife personally knew Alex Pretti, and found out he died when she saw his face on the news.

    Stephen Miller. This was his brainchild. This was his fantasy. This is on his hands. Just so we’re clear.

    the current WH and GOP have all sorts of folks comfortable with and enabling human rights violations and blatantly evil acts. a few have been much more involved and directly responsible. miller is in that latter list. he is one for whom jail time won't be true justice but it will have to do.

    I've been liberal all my adult life, and distressed about mistreatment of immigrants for decades. But I'm a shy introvert who was too timid to go beyond writing politely complaining letters now and then. Minneapolis radicalized me and energized me, and now there's no going back. (Your posts from ground zero played a large part in that emboldening process.) I think for many of us, Minneapolis was the match that started the fire that powered this movement. We saw how you all stood your ground, peaceful yet utterly determined, so how could we not follow?

    @inthehands This motherfucker is definately looking at prison now that Trump's chances of seizing absolute power and handing it to a longer-lived successor have been so greatly reduced.

    @inthehands He and his boss have perpetrated crimes against humanity and need to be tried in the ICC. I can think of a great prosecutor. But I’d be glad to see them rot in prison the rest of their lives here in the US.

    @inthehands Justice is coming for him. There's rumors of impeachments as early as next week, and they will be serious because Republicans who want to distance themselves from MAGA now will go along with it. Same with the war criminal Hegseth. It would be political poison at this point if any Republican who still believes they have a future in congress votes against these measures.

    @inthehands My take is he is going to ramp up ICE activity to achieve the next two years quota by January before the democrats get seated - I really hope I am wrong. Also remember, ICE Is a heavily armed army and Hegseth controls the Military! Nothing good is coming out of this!

    @inthehands Once we can truly take over those camps and find out who’s in there, that’s when I think the scope is going to become so clear and so dark and bring wave after wave of individual lawsuits or lead to a rash of criminal convictions. I hope, anyway. The likely scale of that makes me wonder if we should start organizing volunteer support to find people, process them, get them home, get them access to support and legal resources.

    @inthehands I don't have a lot of hope about this because of how many murderers and traitors are still walking free from previous administrations. I hope there is some justice for all of this, especially for SM. And they shouldn't be able to say they were "just following orders".
