This is kind of random, but I found it funny how I had a whole book named after this key, and up until this week I haven’t been aware that Microsoft once had a whole series of game controllers that came… with a Shift key (or, button), complete with a ⇧ icon.

Apparently it did sort what Shift does on a regular keyboard, e.g. you’d press it with another button to change its meaning.

My favorite sandwich? Bread and butter. I call the butter "sandwich dressing."

I swear I love these boys with all my heart. We haven’t all been in the same room together since Erick’s wedding in DR. We all worked in the same store a million years ago and I was their boss. Now they’re all doing bigger better things. Frank has been running a successful cleaning business, Erick moved to Miami and is a finance manager for an auto group, Mo is a manager for a sports construction company, and David just got promoted to Store Mgr at TMO. My babies are all grown up. 🥹🥹🥹

I think somebody should take all the leaked and copyrighted code that exists out there for various LLM Coding Agents, and train a model with a special focus on reproducing that type of code. Then they ask the model to build them something like Claude Code but works with local models or whatever.

I want to watch Anthropic have to argue in a court of law that LLMs reproducing stolen code which they remembered in their weights is a copyright violation of the original authors of that stolen code. I want to see them have to argue that, or else have to admit that anyone is allowed to steal their code.

Hell, twist the knife in the wound by asking it to build a "clean-room re-write" of Claude Code.

I want to see this happen, despite the fact I probably would not even use this vibe coded software almost ever. I want to see Anthropic have to pivot to handle this.
