Yall I took my dad to a Rush concert and have no doubts Rush still goes hard

I’m doing a Risograph art class today I’ve been waiting for months for it!

I will be sharing my design/print later too. 🥺💙

There’s an endless parade of horrors in America right now. If I commented on them all I’d never rest.

But a live streamed execution is so deeply horrible, terrifying and evil.

I hope everyone responsible for this regime suffers.

I am descending into the pits of hell, i.e. figuring out insurance coverage and why tf my medication is delayed and why no one told me it was delayed.

thoughts and prayers fr yall

I block every single account that posts slopaganda. Is there a block list for this somewhere?

Design review: "This could be frustrating for neurodivergent users."

Cut to: me, the neurodivergent user, fourteen tabs deep, whispering "I will end you" to your bad design

I had a coworker make a joke about how my constant need to bring up accessibility is annoying.

Anna a couple of years ago probably would have been depressed about that.

Anna today went “yeah I guess I could be less annoying…buttttt I’m not gonna be ✨”

Every time I read a story about someone whose married or dating their AI, I feel really sorry for them.

Like I get why we mock it too, but it feels so predatory that AI companies let that happen.

Loneliness sucks. I cannot recommend having a cat enough if that’s a thing you’re dealing with.

Hi. This is my pumpkin (drawing) there are others like it but this one is mine.

Someone asked me a question

Which turned into me finding three accessibility bugs

Which turned into me recommending fixes

Which turned into making a prototype

Which will likely be ignored

Then someone will ask me the same question again next year.

I will repeat this cycle like Sisyphus.

I’ve been in a great mood lately despite everything.

At this point I can only assume that’s because my brain is protecting me from the constant nightmarish horrors we are living through.

Genuine thanks to my brain for that one

What if we didn’t over engineer this and actually focus on the user need, as a treat.

Two years since moving from CO, I’m really building roots in Seattle now.

I know this because I have beef with a Karen who goes to the maker space I use.

I had a nightmare last night I got fired for criticizing billionaires, AI and tech bros.

Tbh it not the most impossible thing that could happen.

I tend to walk a pretty fine line in what I say, but some days I can’t help being like “fuck these guys”

Good morning to the artists, designers, engineers, builders and makers. I love yall.

A few weeks ago I got my woodshop certification and today I got my laser cutter one!

I’m in the meeting. I’m in the combination meeting about meetings.

The final stage of UI design is a single icon that is a shape you cannot recognize and no label.

When you select it you get 8000 characters of text.

This is when we know we will have achieved AGI

Last week my work had a bunch of team building activities.

One of them was improv which I did in front of the group.

And the improv coach just told me I was really good and should take classes.

Y’all is this my Game Changer origin story??

Would it be possible to have different shapes for different lines, and have the number cut out of the shape?

That way there’s a color, shape, and clear number label for each line.

I will try to send this in a more official way but I thought I’d give the social media feedback thing a go. Thanks!
