incidentally, I am still open to finding a job I enjoy more
1) I work from home in Amsterdam. If you are also in Amsterdam, I can physically appear before you on a regular basis.
2) I am not at this exact second a Dutch citizen but I'm working on getting that sorted and finally getting my US passport shredded. I came into the country on a skilled worker visa. I can read Dutch easily and speak it okay
3) I am an infosec expert with a lot of experience reviewing C/C++ source code but I am open to tangentially related roles like malware analysis or optimization analysis, I'd like something fresh
4) I am an intermediate reader of Chinese who is constantly studying, improving, and interested in a role where being able to read Chinese is helpful.

alternatively, if any billionaires are eager to make a risky investment, give me a few million euros and maybe I'll become an AI unicorn. or maybe I'll just make a lot of thoughtful, sincere art and handwritten educational material to foster skills in human beings

@0xabad1dea So you're saying there's a chance you'll do sincere things for the benefit of humans? Investment denied.
Sincerely,
CorpoCorp, Inc.

@0xabad1dea This is the stupidest thing about this venture capital explosion.
Oh, you want to spend $500m on tokens and $100m on facilities in the next 3 years? Take our money!
Oh, you want to spend $500m on people and $100m on supplies and facilities in the next 10 years? Talk to the hand!

@lesto I think, after reflection, you’re trying to make a joke about what lie I should tell the billionaires, but the initial read is very much “lol your art is gonna be nonconsensually appropriated by capital lmao give up now”

@0xabad1dea neither, it was dark humour and cinism.
While I do believe enshittification is extending, I also do believe its important to still create "pure" creative work, and let your name be the differentiation from the slop.
