These recruiters never fail to amaze me. Maybe they are the perfect candidates to replace their job with LLM.

@nixCraft they've been already replaced. at least partially.
same with copywriters.
@nixCraft The sooner we can replace HR with AI the better.
We just need an AI engine with 10 years experience of destroying morale and value. 😂
no really , cause people didn't read the job requirements carefully or even didn't read, they just apply and wait .
@nixCraft
Maybe they were the first ones to be replaced years ago and that's why the requirements are always so stupid.
@nixCraft W-what...
The only real generative AI we had 10 years ago, iirc, were GANs that we made to trip balls.
@nixCraft Recruiters used to rely on a filing cabinet of CVs/Resumés, a good memory and meeting candidates in person. Now, they use databases run by third-parties (LinkedIn etc.) and yet still see fit to charge 30% of a candidate's yearly salary to their clients. Replaced by ML algorithms? Yes please, then put in a ship with all the other Golgafrinchens and be sent off to colonise...anywhere else.
@nixCraft Fairly certain that is happening already.
@nixCraft maybe they want a person that got trained like AI with multiple HPU (Human Processing Units) at the same time feed into one being
@nixCraft Reminds me of this
@nixCraft I remember seeing the same thing circa 2000, except it was web development. Plus ça change...
@nixCraft
It's a joke, right?
...
Right??
@nixCraft ah, that are the successful recruiters who managed to hire kubernetes engineers with also 10+ experience!
@nixCraft Even Sam Altman might not have that kinda experience.
@nixCraft You forgot to attach the screenshot
@nixCraft Are you sure they weren't already? I think that's the one position that would be difficult to tell.
@nixCraft sometimes it is the clueless hiring manager, not the recruiter.
@nixCraft Obviously, they're looking to hire con artists and other people of low moral fiber who will just apply to something and make claims that are untrue.
