Great. `rbw` just stopped working on #OpenBSD. Can't get my passwords. Anyone come across this? What's the fix? I tried building the latest binary from the Rust cargo but no improvement. Error message (I am logged in and the database is unlocked):

As a test I specified SCRIPT_NAME as the full path and not the relative path and I still get the same error.. #OpenBSD #geminiprotocol
So if I `chroot` into some directory in a server config, and I want to run CGI scripts, do I need to symlink / hardlink `/bin/ksh` into the chroot?
Say my config is:
- slowcgi socket running at /var/gemini/smelly.sock
- gmid config chroots into /var/gemini
- gmid specifies SCRIPT_NAME as /cgi/index.sh
- index.sh is a standars ksh script.
However logs say:
slowcgi[96371]: execve /correct-path-to/index.sh: No such file or directory
Whee! My #geminiprotocol capsule on gemini://vigilia.cc is now reverse-proxied by `relayd` running over at @OpenBSDAms instead of nginx at OVH, DNS is now handled by https://desec.io instead of Cloudflare... The next thing would be to switch the home server over to #OpenBSD too :)

I'm rather optimistic about building `rbw` on #OpenBSD, it's a #Rust based #BitWarden #CLI. Compiling now! It will be so useful to have access to password in the terminal!
@solene @BeamMeOut I think signal_cli can be compiled on OpenBSD; but it's a bit of a pain to use I gather. I understand the current problem with the stock GUI app for Signal is about Electron... But to be honest if some things need to be run in a virtual environment, that's totall fine with me.
@solene I followed your very very useful guide for sshfs mounts, but I am wondering - how do I auto-mount an sshfs file system on startup, and how do I order it to load after `tailscaled` is up?
Is there a way to enable full-disk encryption post-install on #OpenBSD or am I looking at a reinstall? Made some backups of dotfiles and relevant things in /etc... Just in case... But can I get away with _not_ having to do it?
Ok, #retrogaming folks, I would like a suggestion please for a game to play on the #miyoominiplus. I’d like an RPG with a good story. Preferably NOT a JRPG. I really liked Shadowrun for NES for example. One of my all-time favourite games was the #Avernum (or back then, Exile) series. Anything immersive, non-linear, and not Anime that people would suggest? Any platform up to PS2…
A thought occurred to me: might Big Tech be using #2FA to deanonymise users? Scenario:
- I log into Facebook from behind a VPN because they are not having my IP to exploit me for behaviour data
- Facebook complains I am a robot and tells me to verify via 2FA using FB Mobile
- In many cases the mobile device might not be connected to the same VPN as Desktop (eg using a browser extension), so the request will feed original IP back to Facebook

The point of solar panels is not to ensure "solar profitability," but to make for a greener, better world. Its profitability is only justified insofar as it moves us towards that goal. If we want to switch to renewables, then sometimes we're going to have surplus, because of how renewables work. This is well known and discussed ad nauseam. If that makes power markets unstable, then the problem is with markets, not with there being too many solar panels.

I'm wondering; if I were to swap out the (unsupported) stock Broadcom BCM4360 MiniPCIe WiFi card in the Macbook Air, what would be the best replacement? I'm thinking something Atheros based, but I see a lot of cheapie Intel WiFi cards are also well supported. What would be the best (fastestest, modernestest, optionally having Bluetooth in case I want to use other operating systems too)? #OpenBSD

@claudiom Well, I think the GPU is toast. I tried FreeBSD and Wayland - and got exactly the same glitch in the end; only in a slightly different pattern… At least I can be sure I did the Wayland setup correctly… How can I reinstall openBSD but tell it to skip radeondrm during fw_update and use vesa?
