There is literally no way in which Iran is prolonging this war. I don't really care what happened under Carter. This isn't then. The facts are, plainly speaking, we keep reigniting the war - not them.
@scottmichaud @Sobex As i stated in the reply to the first post - Wintour is in a round about way arguing that Iran is responsible for this war dragging into the midterms because they didn't give up and just let Trump ignore the treaty. It's a "stop making me hurt you baby" argument and it's fucking grotesque.
The fact that someone in this thread thinks its plausible somehow is just evidence that imperial propaganda and American exceptionalism are real forces in our society.

They even wanted to help the US find Bin Laden, and help in Afghanistan against the Taliban. They were told to F off. This is all reprisal from the USA for the Iranians daring to expel the US’s favourite dictator in 1979. The colonial hegemony must be maintained.
