Fint vi køber el-biler. Men bedst om vi satte vores forbrug voldsomt ned eller transformerede det til et bæredygtigt forbrug.

Blame the North American car manufacturers, backed by the oil companies, who’ve convinced car buyers here that the wide streets and roads are safer and more comfortable to navigate in large gas guzzling behemoths that earn the manufacturers higher margins and the oil companies huge profits. Trump is just a useful idiot for them.
@randahl under Biden ev's were gaining momentum both with the publc & manufacterers. not long after fuckface was elected he showed his displeasure with ev's, or anything environmentally sound, and the car makers reversed course. they'll kiss whose ever ass they need to.
@randahl The article mentions registration fees, but I recall there also being non-electric car bans proposed in major city areas. If I was buying a new car I probably wouldn't want to get one that I might soon not be allowed to drive through portions of the city I live in.

@randahl in Canada at least, I make decent money. But I could not afford an electric. And the odd one I could afford had no cargo capacity or towing capability and was effectively just a sports car. We still havent seen a low budget ev in canada, let alone something that could handle the mountain terrain around here.
