This beautiful Singer 237 Fashion Mate recently came into my possession. Runs smoothly and I immediately began to delight in what I found later to be an internet consensus about this machine, it satin stitches like a dream.
I find myself wanting to play with .... not sure what one calls it, hand guided machine embroidery?
But I know *nothing* about what I'm doing, but have discovered quickly that I am going to want some embroidery backing/interfacing.
In the past I'd be popping out to JoAnn's to grab something to try with.. but that's no longer an option.
Where are y'all shopping for this kind of thing? And does anyone have any product recommendations?
Of note: I don't shop Amazon.
