    lemon verbena is one of my favorite smells
    i almost bought some at a gardening place a couple of weeks ago, but i put it back cos i knew i wouldn’t have the spoons to keep it alive :eariz_bun_cry:

    it depends on your climate, but i do next to nothing with ours. it's in the ground ... gets watered when things are dry (and a lot when it was new), but otherwise it's fine. gets cut back in autumn once it's gone to sleep and then again in early summer after it's gone mad and grown 30ft. and that's it!

    i think that’s what i found out, when i looked at the care tag for it — we live in a zone where it would be unlikely to come back because our winters are too cold, and it would need to be brought indoors every winter if i wanted to keep it alive. :/ i do hope to live in a friendlier climate someday. ^◡^ ✿

    @cupcakefae ah bums. well maybe one day! (we do put fleece around the base of ours if it's going to freeze for longer than a day or two, but yes it's not a Very Cold Place here. alas! (i miss Big Snow)
