    If there was a record to be bested for a dog who could make the most noise with a protein powder canister, empty but for the plastic scoop rattling around inside, Summer would be in the running.
    She has chased this noise maker around the house for two days. Eventually it will end up in the recycle bin but meanwhile has found a new life as a toy.
    It takes us a minute to empty one of these containers so Summer appreciates the specialness of the moment.
    She says fun doesn't have to be fancy or expensive it just needs to be fun.

    Golden lab is resting for a minute after chasing the white with blue lid plastic container she has secured under her left leg. She is a happy dog.

    It's a gift to be able to make your own fun! Summer is lucky to have so many enjoyable things in her day: playing with her pal, gardening, recycling, specially-cooked meals, and outdoor adventures... Plus all the love....

    @NorcalGma2 we had a dog whose pouncing, batting, chomping and chewing of empty milk jugs was deafening. And (alas) not *months* between new toys. TBH, they withstood abuse better than storebought toys or rawhide knots.
