4/ #GazaGenocide - On the occasion of World Food Day, the Gaza Health Ministry said in a press statement…that “malnutrition and starvation rates in the Gaza Strip have reached catastrophic levels.”
It published figures that offer a glimpse of the effect that Israel’s weaponisation of food is having on Palestinians in Gaza:
466 deaths due to malnutrition and starvation, including 156 children.
More than 1.4 million people (67 percent of the population) are expected to face crisis-level food insecurity or worse through the end of 2026.
158,001 cases of acute malnutrition have been recorded among children under five from 2024 through August 2026, including 28,716 severe cases that pose a life-threatening risk.
The mortality rate among children under five rose from 13.6 to 33.4 deaths per 1,000 live births between 2022 and 2025, while 12.2 percent of children suffer from stunting.
An estimated 74,200 children will require treatment for acute malnutrition by April 2027.

3/ #GazaGenocide - As part of their strategy to weaponise food, the Israelis have completely destroyed “87 percent of agricultural land and greenhouses” in the Gaza Strip. There are few sources of protein, if any: “Meat and dairy production have ceased, and the poultry sector has likewise been devastated.” “Military operations have resulted in the destruction of 8,700 agricultural wells and 9,992 cattle, sheep, and poultry farms, as well as the killing of approximately 69,000 head of livestock,” the report adds.

Having destroyed Gaza’s capacity to produce food for its inhabitants, the Israelis have continued attacking aid convoys and community kitchens to ensure that starvation persists as a weapon of war. On top of this, the Israelis have been regularly killing aid seekers and aid workers. According to Al Mezan, “Approximately 128 aid convoys, 64 distribution centres, and 48 charitable food kitchens have been targeted, resulting in the killing of 2,605 people seeking aid and aid workers.”

2/ The weaponisation of food and water by the Israelis during their ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip has caused immeasurable suffering among survivors of the genocide. Palestinians in the besieged enclave are enduring “severe deterioration in food security and unprecedented levels of poverty,” according to a new report.
The occupation forces “have deliberately destroyed the industrial and commercial sectors by bombing industrial facilities and commercial establishments, while devastating the agricultural sector through the bulldozing of agricultural land and crops, the destruction of poultry farms and livestock holdings, including cattle, the prevention of fishing, and the destruction of aquaculture projects,” Al Mezan Centre for Human Rightssaid in a report on Friday…tight Israeli restrictions on the entry of aid, including food supplies, have meant that the vast majority of the population struggles to obtain adequate nutrition.

One of the defining features of the Israeli genocidal assault on Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank has been its barbarism towards children.
The Israelis have placed more than half of the Palestinian children they have abducted in solitary confinement at least once, highlighting the systemic nature of the Israeli torture regime targeting minors.
“Of the 635 minors held in prison, 351 were placed in solitary confinement, usually for seven consecutive days and sometimes for as long as two weeks,” according to Haaretz.

Analysis: For Trump, results have often revealed the art of no deal - For example: Trump promised he would use the threat of tariffs to negotiate the best trade deals ever, only to offer unilateral duties nearly the whole world over. Those import taxes have raised domestic prices and sparked trade wars with America’s close friends, including Canada. The levies brought in more than $83 billion this year through September, much of it paid for by American consumers and still far less federal revenue than Trump suggested. Even on less consequential matters, Trump’s deals have foundered. He said he had a “guy who’s unbelievable at doing swimming pools” who could fix the Lincoln Memorial’s Reflecting Pool for a little more than $1 million. The cost has been closer to $20 million so far. #Trump #TrumpRegime

The traitor in the White House is colluding with and supporting our enemy - at the expense of an ally and all of Europe (who may be next).
