Spent a couple of hours in the shop yesterday afternoon. I finished early to give me enough time to get home and freshen up before going to Wigan for my bone density scan!

We had tea out on the way home, well, why not.

We're off to visit Mum this morning, which will be fun 😊
This afternoon Mrs S and Bobby are coming round which will make the end of the day all the better!!

It's been a while since I shared one of these... Things have been "shitty" in many ways, and I struggled to see the positive things... Guess they were harder to see through the tears of sadness and pain...

But now, trying to relax on the couch, I feel I need to look past the tears, and see the things that were happening as well, the ones that made it possible for me to keep going...

1. Seeing Koa happy and naughty! It's his natural state of puppy-ness, so it's just Koa being Koa... But, with me struggling to provide him with what he needs (what I think he should be getting from me), I love seeing him enjoy all the positive things that are still available to him. :flying_hearts:

2. Having an ASS-ADHD coach now, and she's amazing! She helped me get a quick GP visit, and made sure I was heard, and being taken seriously. Now, I have a diagnosis, and they're working on providing me the meds I really need... :pandaheart:

3. Having people around me that care about me (and Koa), that accept me for who I am, that support me in what I do, and... That are there for me when I need them, even though they have busy lives/their own struggles as well. These people, both online and offline, deserve a huge shout out! (those online ones... You know who you are!). :bear_hug:

I’m no fan of Ronald Reagan’s time as POTUS - the “trickle down economics” idea was bullshit as my young family struggled to get through the 1980s and into the early 90s - but there WAS one thing I did agree with him on; there’s no doubt in my mind he’d be considered a RINO today by die-hard tRumpanzees and MAGAts if he went around saying stuff like this.

My husband has decided to take a break from deck demolition. Thank goodness.
Summer had a lovely swimming adventure.
Her groomer said she was the best good girl for her spa appointment.
I am baking which is one of my favorite things to do.
A hint from a friend who said that she missed my cinnamon rolls. A husband who said oooh that sounds good was enough to get me started.
A dozen rolls will need to rise one more time before the oven.
