Sep 14, 2026, 9:25 PMThe real reason I spend so much time at the circus school is that I have been slowly developing an immunity to clowns. This allows me to continue to do tech policy.

"People with coulrophobia, the fear of clowns, can benefit from specific coping strategies and treatments. Two effective approaches are exposure therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy."

twopropstwoprops@defcon.socialSep 14, 2026, 10:04 PM@evacide ...but be careful. The clowns have been known to mutate and evade acquired immunities.
Olivierdacmot@sunny.gardenSep 15, 2026, 12:07 AM@evacide like building an immunity to iocaine powder. Smart.
SomeVeganCheeseIsOkSomeVeganCheeseIsOk@mastodon.socialSep 15, 2026, 12:53 AM@evacide I like tech policy. It's just like really really niche fanfiction. Nobody reads it except that one person who tells you what you got wrong.
