No one needs to hear from the far right. It's been heard. It's been proven wrong. They can safely be deplatformed and censored out of existence for all I care. They're just bullies and helping bullies hurt people doesn't make you enlightened; it makes you an asshole.
The white centrists and liberals who clutch pearls about "hearing all viewpoints" aren't doing so for principled reasons but because they like keeping Nazis around as a threat and a bulwark to use against the left and marginalized people, and because they not infrequently agree with them.

For, like, bringing up stuff that is even "accepted by right wing politicians" in Europe.

Funny thing is, as reality goes, these are the only politics that can give us a future.
@gwynnion This post made me think of what Macron is doing to France. The left wins an elections, but the government moves right bringing in #fascists or those adjacent.
I could see something similar in the US. A big win for #KamalaHarris and the #DemocraticParty, but somehow a debt will be owed to the likes of the Cheneys and Lincoln Project types and billionaire donors. Therefore, actual governance will continue to slip to the right.

By which they never mean the range of political opinions from classical liberalism to anarcho-socialism advocated by the people in my social media feed.

I've offered caring insights and positive perspectives for those looking for a better way — beyond subjective party definitions.
