Sep 26, 2026, 3:36 PMA new term proposal: happy ASCIIdent.
It's when your cat jumps on your keyboard, and the letters create a sort of drawing.

C. Knodelknodel@mastodon.deSep 26, 2026, 3:42 PMThat's what I tell my students when they find a typo on my work sheet.
Or is it 'in' my work sheet? You know, my cat...
Sep 26, 2026, 3:46 PM@davidrevoy Has Charlie demonstrated it already? :-P

@njsg Haha, not yet ; I can't wait the moment he'll feel enough confident to be inside the house. I'll give news as soon as possible if it happens, but it might take weeks.
elgregor@librem.oneSep 26, 2026, 4:40 PM@davidrevoy Oopsiecode when it goes beyond US-ASCII.
RustyNovaRustyNova@mastodon.socialSep 26, 2026, 4:55 PM@davidrevoy but what if it's actually UTF-8?
Send Cookiesotfrom@functional.cafeSep 26, 2026, 5:06 PM@davidrevoy only if your cat is possessed by Bob Ross?
CarolynCStamp@mastodon.socialSep 26, 2026, 5:08 PM@davidrevoy That is kind of brilliant. :)
s3nnets3nnet@social.tchncs.deSep 26, 2026, 5:19 PM@davidrevoy But beware those nasty screnshot bombs…
Trinsectrinsec@trinsec.orgSep 26, 2026, 5:27 PM@davidrevoy@framapiaf.org Hey, where's the drawing?!
- David Revoydavidrevoy@framapiaf.orgSep 26, 2026, 9:08 PM
@trinsec It was a bunch of random letters but on azerty keyboard where all the numerics return a symbol (and shift+those symbols return a number) , so I remember I had some ç, o , i , _ in there, and with the help of a bit of paraeidola it could look like a sort of lifeform.
an actual busrenardboy@mastodon.socialSep 26, 2026, 5:22 PM@davidrevoy my cat's finest work so far has been adsaojfdsa
but he is young and has much time still to refine his craft
Ben, sleepy version.BenCotterill@mastodon.socialSep 26, 2026, 5:22 PM@davidrevoy I once fell asleep on the keyboard and appropriately my forehead typed out pages of zzzzzzzz.
Guitarsophistjredlund@social.linux.pizzaSep 26, 2026, 5:37 PM@davidrevoy That's called "Kitty Intelligence" or "KI." It is remarkably cheaper than AI because it doesn't need a data center. It also hallucinates, however.
GunChleocgunchleoc@mastodon.scotSep 26, 2026, 8:02 PM@davidrevoy Bonus points if it is a drawing of a tooth
