The band has been getting more and more scathing in their sarcastic jabbing at certain ignorant stereotypes. I was *shocked* at the number of people in the audience who were the target of that sarcasm and still LOVED it. It became painfully clear: this country is addicted to violence and vengeance. They don't even notice if it's aimed at their face, as long as they can cheer on what they perceive as aggression.

Unfortunately, in April 2026, the mechanisms for preventing this are called "Congressional Republicans" or the "executive branch (Republican) cabinet". They aren't preventing it because they don't give a shit.
