For my fellow dog owners:

A cheap way to get more playtime out of their toys is to get a cheap felt blanket and cut it down to maybe like 3' x 4' (or whatever size makes sense for their toys). Show them the toy, squeak it a couple times, then wrap the toy in the blanket, and let them go digging for it. When they find it, take it back, rewrap it, and let them find it again. We've gotten a lot more lifespan out of toys by adding that game to them, rather than just fetch or letting them rip it to shreds.
