    was putting on a shirt this morning and it reminded me of "dead company shirt day" that we used to do early in IETF. the game was to wear a tshirt or vendor wear from some company that didn't exist any more.

    the shirt this morning is from a company formed in 1998 and gone since 2004. the shirt has held up much better. ;)

    so, what is the oldest dead company vendor wear you still wear?

    (by dead, i mean that name is no longer an active product/trademark/company)

    @paul_ipv6 I don't usually wear vendor swag but I think I still have a "Friends don't let friends load Windows NT" from Sun.

    My favorite one might be my own design I did with Neustar. Front has a "dig neustar.biz" and on the back is output with at least one easter egg (ASN in one of field values).

    @jtk

    easter eggs and geeky joke tshirts are always fun.

    way back in the early 90s at microsoft, they did a "bring your family day". someone who shall remain nameless had tshirts printed for the kids.

    front: my daddy works at microsoft
    back: are you my daddy?

    management was not amused.

    @paul_ipv6 I didn't start picking up company-logo swag until later in my career; I think the oldest shirt that's still in my occasional rotation is my YAPC 19100 shirt from CMU (somehow my 1999 YAPC shirt vanished)
