@gael @w3c @murena @e_mydata
they'll only do it if they can get more info on users from PWAs

@gael @w3c @murena @e_mydata PwA's are not a solution. Why should I always use internet? It needs more battery power and not all have unlimited Network access

@gael @w3c @murena @e_mydata Awesome! But please improve app search. I use @pinafore for Mastodon, but PWAs are not shown when I search the app store, unless I know the app name (and even then it's sometimes not there)

@gael @w3c @murena @e_mydata Sadly, I just learnt that @pinafore installef from the /e/ app store does not work. It uses the web browser for authentication, but never gets back to the PWA...
(Nice that the PWA has its own sand box, though, but the "install" from Firefox and the /e/ browser do work)

@gael @w3c @murena @e_mydata Platform owners will always be one step ahead of you if they want to kneecap stuff they don't like.
Building new platforms is the only long term solution.

@gael @w3c @murena @e_mydata please no. Programs should be local. There is no cloud. "WebApps" aren't real apps, they're just bloated websites. JavaScript is garbage.
