People paste this cat face into all kinds of things. What does it mean, does it refer to something i should know about?

Just a funny cat face. @da_667 started pasting it around when talking about work. Cr0w thought it was funny. I thought it was funny. Others thought it was funny. Now Catte has become a niche micromeme among infosec mastodon people.
Sep 2, 2026, 4:51 PM@Dio9sys @RonJeffries the best way I can describe is that catte is a infosec chaos gremlin. An agent of chaos. You see his face super-imposed on something, it just means shenanigans are at play.
