    I know it's funnier to say Fetterman's brain got transmogrified because he had a stroke but factually speaking I remember having serious arguments with people tied to his campaign and his online fans about his PRE-ESTABLISHED position on Israel and the occupation of Palestine and was told, more or less, to "shut up because you don't know how hard it is to win without AIPAC support in Pennsylvania."

    Has Fetterman quiet-defected to the GOP since? Sure. But he was always pro genocide.

    If I were being more bitchy about it, I might say Fetterman should stand as an abject lesson to the overwhelmingly-white American online left to listen more when folks who ain't look like you are telling you someone is a bad guy. Fetterman's desire to help Israel murder babies was known; it was just ignored. We do the same thing with "immigration hardline" dems and ex-CIA murderbots.

    Can't say you got tricked when you were told and said "naw fuck it I know better."

    What I'd say the stroke actually changed about Fetterman is it removed his polish, and diminished his impulse control. Pre-stroke Fetterman probably doesn't throw a fit and vote for GOP bills to punish his own party for abandoning Israel in his eyes. But those feelings? Those opinions? The motivations BEHIND his out of control actions? Those are pre-existing conditions that have fuck all to do with a stroke.

    Just like your grandpa didn't *become* a racist shit; he lost the ability to hide it.
