Finally pulled the trigger on something I’ve wanted to do for ages and booked myself into some sewing classes. It’s a bit more expensive than I was planning but it sounds like it’ll give me a really good base and it will be good to learn something practical 😁 once I’ve done the first couple of classes I’ll look at getting a machine if I’m enjoying it

You'll learn a lot in a series of classes, and plenty of places sell refurbished machines for a good price. I'm looking at the cushion covers that I made 7 or 8 years ago, and now, my wardrobe is almost entirely #MeMade. I've spent a lot on classes during that time, but I count that cost as medicine for my brain, rather than as the cost of my clothing. It's very satisfying to avoid clothing stores and malls for the most part. Enjoy your journey!
