I have a meeting booked for 0900am with someone. I checked with him yesterday what time he starts and what time it would be ok to book the meeting. 0900….ok, meeting booked for 0900. He’s walked in the door at 0859 and will now go and put his bag down, say hello to his colleagues, maybe get a coffee. Well, not if he’s smart.

Oh noes, I just booked another theatre ticket but at least I did book the cheapest obstructed view ticket! Catching up with my lovely ex neighbour who selfishly moved away while I was overseas

So, in interesting developments on day two of my new job, I’ve had to recommend to my client that they put a hold on any work being done internally or by the vendor while I try and figure out what the fuck has been built (and is apparently being tested!!) to non existent requirements and with no business consultation whatsoever. Luckily I have a track record with this client and she took my recommendation seriously and has given me free rein to do what ever I think is necessary. Especially after I said I didn’t want them to end up like Sydney water but how the fuck has it got to this 🤯

Well, the only thing I’ve done to get ready for first day at new job tomorrow is paint my nails. I should probably think about what I’m going to wear and changing to a bigger handbag. Still, I don’t start till 10 for the first day so I guess there’s no mad rush 🤷‍♀️

Awwww our ex sister in law has just sent my sister and I a message letting us know that she’s getting married again next year and inviting us to the wedding 🥰

Finally pulled the trigger on something I’ve wanted to do for ages and booked myself into some sewing classes. It’s a bit more expensive than I was planning but it sounds like it’ll give me a really good base and it will be good to learn something practical 😁 once I’ve done the first couple of classes I’ll look at getting a machine if I’m enjoying it
