“we don’t have the resources for vibecoded projects with no users to burn on their build pipelines” somehow got warped into “if you don’t have a large community we will kick you off this platform” even though those statements aren’t remotely equivalent.
charitably: folks are stressed and anxious and didn’t stop to consider the context of the vibecoded project ban—made by an organization that describes itself as a “non-profit, community-led effort that provides services to free and open-source projects,” mind—before posting. it happens! in this house we support “posting through it.” (until it reaches the point of spreading FUD.)
