"YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram and Facebook owner Meta are all declining to run the trailer for Musk, along with X itself, The Hollywood Reporter has learned."

Filmmaker Alex Gibney, at the premiere of his film at the Venice Film Festival on Sept 8, "warns that Elon Musk is “extremely dangerous,” citing his political influence, control of X and connections with right-wing parties worldwide. Gibney also raises concerns about govt data reportedly accessed during DOGE operations, suggesting it could potentially be combined with AI to influence elections."
What can we do to stop him?

The documentary, which runs ~4 hours with an intermission, will expand nationwide after its debut in NYC and LA on Oct 9.
“We have one person who’s this chaotic and has this much power. It’s completely insane,” notes one of many Musk critics in the trailer.
Another takes aim at his Telsa vehicles, alleging, “This is a car that lies to you about what it’s doing,” before the trailer shows footage of a deadly crash that involved a Tesla driving on autopilot.

Meta and YouTube say they will allow ads for ‘Musk’ documentary after all.
Meta: “This was an error and the ads are being restored.”
YouTube: “When submitted as an ad, it was temporarily restricted by our system. Following review the ad has been cleared to run.”

@AkaSci Seems they aren't allowing paid ads, but YouTube hasn't removed the trailer, they are just making it hard to find (so we need to share it).
@AkaSci Straight into the Blockbuster '50c specials bin' next to Melania. 👍
Sep 26, 2026, 3:26 PM@AkaSci that question though... 💯
@AkaSci
Terrific trailer: really makes you want to see the movie! Can’t wait til it gets released here in Australia. 🤗🙏🏻
Nah Fuck Him! douchebro prime is trash human.
@AkaSci The thing is, every sane minded individual knows what a person he really is without having to see it documented. He is his own worst documenter and that word has got out. His fanboys will never see the truth no matter how it's packaged.
@byrnensorg @AkaSci it isn’t for them, it’s not for him either. It’s for our grandkids. They have to know that we did know, all the lies were superficial and we let ourselves fall behind them anyway. We let history fool us into believing the last dictators stole power, we gave it to them back in the day as well. We will keep doing it if we don’t teach these lessons.

The movie is absolutely for everyone who hates his guts. And I think it’s even more delicious because if it’s overwhelmingly successful or even greatly successful, the movie theaters will notice That biographies of the super rich are profitable
@AkaSci Musk is a #trashumansit
@AkaSci
May this be the finest example of the Streisand Effect yet!
@AkaSci this is going to be beautiful, I am buying this movie.
@AkaSci Essential viewing
