    And that's a wrap! Unlike the NASA DART mission, Hayabusa2 was never designed for flyby (or impact) observations, so I think we now have to wait until the spacecraft can be rotated to allow the high gain antenna to transmit images to the Earth. My guess is we might see something tomorrow... 🤞

    @elizabethtasker It's brilliant the way the space community has this make-do-and-mend mentality, pulling technical rabbits out of hats for ages after the primary mission has been achieved. The Voyagers are the obvious example, but the creativity shown on Mars missions is also right up there. JAXA seems to have these extra ideas in mind all the time, like those little picture taking robots for SLIM, and now this achievement.
