    That's also my view and has been for some time. I reckon it's a whole neurodivergent palette covering not just autism and ADHD but dyslexia, OCD, RSD, alexithymia, etc etc. And anyway, medical dogma is usually many years behind lived experience.

    @drewph @neoluddite one of the big things I notice is that when medical texts describe ADHD and/or autism, it doesn't sound like me.

    But when people who are ON the spectrum describe their own experience, I'm like, FINALLY SOMEBODY UNDERSTANDS.

    @jimsalter @drewph yep, most symptoms are described from the point of view of society, not the person affected. Issues with memory, focus and time blindness turns into "Congratulations, you have been diagnosed with Lazy Asshole Disorder!"
