Another on my list of small niceties in macOS 27 beta: we have decoupled Show Borders from Increase Contrast for apps using the new design. This is great for people who just want a little more edge definition on UI elements, but don't want to jump all the way to the weighty color changes of Increase Contrast.
@jnadeau Jeff… that color well, is it AppKit or did SwiftUI get the extended mode?
@sanguish this is a super simple AppKit storyboard I had laying around. Good reminder that we need to expose styles on ColorPicker though.

(also, adding one non-counting vote that show borders should be the default for most of those controls, so much more tasteful than the flat look of the regular buttons and friends)
