Turns out buying a well specced out M5 Pro two months ago was an investment.

Instead of playing with any shiny new WWDC26 APIs, maybe we developers all need to start running our apps through Instruments and make drastic reductions to their RAM profiles? I think we're going to need to savor every byte we get for the next few years 🥲

And what if for every thing you don’t like about the 27 releases, you also have to toot a thing you do like?

The smallest icon size doesn’t look good yet in macOS Golden Gate. Hope this gets fixed, as the larger sizes look nice and crisp.

The new Xcode toolbar is not only customizable, it also adds color to some items.

I don’t want to read too much in to that, but would be great if iWork apps and others are getting this back again too.

Another on my list of small niceties in macOS 27 beta: we have decoupled Show Borders from Increase Contrast for apps using the new design. This is great for people who just want a little more edge definition on UI elements, but don't want to jump all the way to the weighty color changes of Increase Contrast.

It’s almost unbelievable how much snappier iOS 27 feels compared to 26. It’s not twice as fast or anything like that, but 26 it felt like there was a tiny delay with every tap. Most of that is gone on iOS 27 Beta 1

The best part is Low Power Mode is actually usable now

So you still can't create Liquid Glass icons for visionOS and tvOS for the 27 releases with Icon Composer? Really? #SwiftUI #UIKit

Regarding the trust and safety stuff: a lot of this seems built for parents who lost control over their children? And in that case, won’t kids find a way to circumvent? Like getting hold of an unmanaged device in one way or another.
