When I was at Apple I went to lunch with another writer and my boss.
The other writer said she was running a marathon that weekend. I, knowing nothing about marathons didn’t realize they were a specific length.
The look of absolutely stupidity she gave me told me everything I needed to know about her.

I'm so happy that SwiftUI in iOS 27 supports granular text selection! We can just apply the existing textSelection() modifier to a Text view, and instead of selecting the entire text block like in iOS 26, it lets users select a portion of the text with the standard drag gesture.
