    New job lead, and I am rather qualified!

    But, the hours are not specified, it just says, "on call."

    Pay is also not specified.

    and this shit:

    - If your resume is shortlisted, you will be invited to take an online AI-based assessment.

    I might tolerate that bullshit if I knew the pay was decent, but I'm not talking to a gorram toaster without some basics of the job being disclosed.

    This world sucks. How has this nonsense become acceptable?

    I'm tempted to apply in the hopes that I can get a shot at wasting their fucking AI tokens and costing them some money.

    @nuintari Do you have contact info you can ask about the pay range? Every email that I've gotten that looked interesting but they didn't include it got the reply:

    > What's the pay range?

    If they reply and I'm not interested, they get nothing more. They're purposely obscuring legally required info for engagement. Assholes. They don't deserve better.

    @nuintari eh might as well apply if you have the energy for it. I'm with you about feeling qualified, but usually like to have stuff I want to learn in the description as well (took a couple years of therapy to get there for me). I've heard some men saying they apply if they just like the sound of the title ... End of consideration.

    @nuintari I'm right there with you. I ignore 95% of job posts precisely because of this BS. Companies want loyalty and want us to kill ourselves for them and don't even have the basic decency to treat us like actual humans.
