Any typos spotted in this post are having a proper launch day for their book More Tiny Moments of Joy today after last weeks went a bit wonky. If typos spotted they'll be explaining to their resident not-so-stray cat Moopsy that disemboweling rats on their doormat is a breech of etiquette and no, rat whatsits are not a nice present. (Moopsy unrepentant.)
*I didn't get to hear the two letter word! I wish I had but let's just assume it's one of the really annoying tricksy ones.

One of those words has a range of alternative spellings acceptable in our family rules, as a number of us (not me) have actually seen Himalayan yaks and their hybrids in the flesh.

@nzlemming @rupert @sawaba @georgepenney As she was specifically arguing about the score, I wonder if it might have been a high-scoring one like Qi. On the other hand, I'd expect that to be fairly well-known as a way to play a 'Q' when 'U's are not forthcoming… (I'm not much of a Scrabbler though.)

We are blessed with several great ones! I love Perfect Books in Ottawa and Mill Street Books in Almonte. There are several newer ones that I haven't been to yet. I hope to get to them soon.

I bet the word was “et.” I caused disgruntlement with “et” in a Scrabble game once, to the extent that I didn’t return to that gaming group. 😅 (They only wanted to play Scrabble with *normal* words.)
