I have discovered birb and I am now obsessed
I'm in some dungeon worlds fighting goblins with a trained parrot, having just freed a monster who was kidnapped from a castle. Meanwhile I have a red panda tending my nest and chopping my trees while a sparrow that undergoes mitosis collects popcorn for me in a field, and Dave collects it in a desert, as two seagulls catch fish on my behalf
It's like someone jumped into my brain and made something specifically for me
@babe thanks, I am going to sink *so many* hours into this :blobcatscared:
@dequbed I've been going for a week solid and I'm still so very, very into it. I thought I'd be bored by now
@babe The other (web-)game I have sunk too many hours into the last week is https://seriesoftub.es/ but that's also because I'm adjacent to (and have dated into) the network engineer bubble and I get enough of the jokes it plays off of to find it rather funny
@babe this is delightful. 😊
Oct 28, 2026, 6:34 PM@babe ok but this is pretty dope for something i can leave running to keep me off my phone too
@ajn142 Seriously! It's something you can kind of leave and just keep doing in little intervals or be all in and treat it as a normal game. I love that!
@babe Why did you have to go and say this! I'm calling in sick tomorrow.
Oct 28, 2026, 7:38 PM@babe thank you for a new addiction.
@babe Looks like I have something to do at work. Did you buy the game?
@mrgrumpymonkey Not yet. I'm just playing it through the browser
@babe it is delightful
@babe I saw your post a 1AM, so I'd like to say a hearty fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck yoooooooouuuuuuuuuu, because I did not get a lick of sleep because of this game 😂
@joykill Haha you're not the first person I've done that to over this game!
@babe it's just too good, I'm not even the biggest enjoyer of incremental games, but this one has the spark.
@joykill I quite enjoy incremental games but do get frustrated how slow a lot of them are.
This seems to be one you can play all out after you've got it established. I'm hooked
@babe that's my biggest gripe with most of them, another being that I am not going to be leaving my gaming PC powered on 24/7 just for some numbers going up, I'm not some crypto bro 🤨 this is perfect though because it runs in a browser, so I'll just leave it running on my office laptop and hopefully soulcrushing dread won't be the only thing I'm feeling when anticipating going there 😅
