Time to update it:

TheNerd AutomatonTheNerdAutomaton@mastodon.gamedev.placeOct 21, 2026, 3:34 AM@lzg shouldn't be hard with AWS bills...
Oct 21, 2026, 4:04 AM@lzg sorry but i don't think that's reasonable. savvy investors are now demanding losses of at least $100B a year. can you do better?
tlarivtlariv@hachyderm.ioOct 21, 2026, 4:19 AM@lzg
See, that's your problem – you don't think big enough!
Corpomancercorpomancer@mastodon.socialOct 21, 2026, 4:51 AM@lzg Chump change, you've got to pump those losses!
Oct 21, 2026, 6:26 AM@lzg You're clearly not ambitious enough. Financing declined.
Matt Palmerwomble@infosec.exchangeOct 21, 2026, 6:55 AM@lzg can you destroy the fabric of society, though? Savvy investors are looking for that kind of disruption these days.
MUGISHA PHOCIT2003MugishaPhocit@mastodon.socialOct 21, 2026, 10:12 AM@lzg How would you lose such a big amount of money?.could you be investing?
UpLateGeekUpLateGeek@bitbang.socialOct 21, 2026, 1:19 PM@lzg I was going to say I could do it for only $500M a year, but honestly with RAM prices the way they are it would probably be more like $4-5B.
Jeroen BatenJeroenBaten@mastodon.nlOct 21, 2026, 6:44 PM@lzg if for tax deduction reasons I guarantee I can top that.
Shaula EvansShaulaEvans@zirk.usOct 21, 2026, 7:09 PM@lzg Same! And let's face it, most if it would wind up not really lost, just misplaced under the couch cushions.
Oct 21, 2026, 8:30 PM@lzg im a cheap date i will settle for 500 million
cauZationcauZation@mastodon.socialOct 22, 2026, 1:50 PM@lzg How much can you lose though, when fellow #TechBros and #FossilFuels #Oligarchy are welcome in an extreme right-wing White House? Shouldn't the wealthiest nation in human history, be backup enough, to inflict even more skewed #Capitalism #greed?
