    Came up with a good way to convert scene scripts to code for You Have Died. Gonna treat every dialogue box or choice box or whatever as its own "scene" as far as the engine is concerned and that way I can tick over to the next part of the script when the current "scene" ends

    For a second there I considered parsing the scripts, turning it into some kind of bytecode or AST in binary, then reading it in in the engine and running an interpreter on it

    Then I came to my senses and decided to go from parsing to emitting C code I can just compile, cutting out the middle two steps

    @sol_hsa oh the scripts are for dialogue sequences not levels. But other people can write scripts and then I compile them into the game
