Started watching "flash". Mid-season one they're already into time travel shenanigans. There's 9 seasons of this. How.

You're in a class, and are given five matchsticks. Assignment is to make a shape with the sticks.

Rules are:
1) must use all five
2) shape must be flat 2d
3) may not alter the sticks (like cut them in pieces)
4) all sticks must be connected

So examples would be a line, a pentagon (where the line loops), a cross (one 4-way connection), or a figure 8 (square split with a stick).

The catch is, if your shape matches someone elses' shape in the class, you fail.

What shape would you make?

You take a look at the people. Some are impossibly tall and slim, others are almost spherical. You spot someone with at least nine arms. In one, you can't figure out where their head is. The couple human-shaped beings feel out of place. Many have clothes that look like metal, and several look transparent to you.

Compared to the city you visited, this place feels way more alien to you.

Many people have made the joke that if reality was a book, people wouldn't believe it as it's too stupid. Google has pivoted hard to ai under the CEO whose name is Pichai.

That previous brain dump reminded me of when the zoom CEO said he wants to send a bot to meetings so he can spend more time at the beach or whatever.

My reaction was to ask: does the bot speak with the voice and authority of the CEO?

If no, what's the point of the bot?
If yes, what's the point of the CEO?

Ever get inspired by an algorithm, sit down and hammer it down without compiling or saving once, and then when saving it in its logical location you find you already wrote it years ago and never used it anywhere?

As you approach the tree, you notice an eerie glow from inside the hut.

Climbing the tree is surprisingly easy, with branches at convenient intervals. You climb high, leaving the hut, and the smoke rising from the chimney, far below you.

You can see the port town on the seashore, and in another direction, a small trail of smoke in the middle of the forest.

You keep using that word. I don't think it means what you think it means.
