It might be an early dinner night. Already hungry and it's only 4:00 PM.

Ladies, I have solved our mystery. I now know why our feminen products are getting so damn expensive! Y'all, the boujie award for menstrual pads goes to... Kotex. Bamboo pads? Now hold up, y'all mean the same bamboo that they make bed sheets out of? We already know how expensive those are. So now y'all putting it in pads? I mean... I'm all for trying to be more natural and clean, but this here... I don't know. We're over here pinching pennies and y'all over here, hey, buy our pads with bamboo! Y'all got it twisted! - Tina

Walgreens order is safely inside, and somehow nothing is wrong with it.

See, this is how wound up this day has got me. I'm already half way to my activity goal on my health tracker. Keep the hits coming! I just might beat it! Nope, I'm not even putting that into the universe... shit, too late. I just did.

Dear lord, the Walgreens order is outside. I'm afraid to touch it. What if it somehow spontaneously combusts? LOL, mostly kidding. ON a serious note, let's hope this one comes with no defects. I'm good on that for the day.

Now if this isn't the strangest issue ever. When I try to use alt+space to maximize the window in FastSMRW, to see if that's why it's cutting off longer posts, it opens the thread I'm sitting on. What in the ever loving hell?

LOL, never thought of it that way, but you know, there are probably some places it's best to not play certain things.

Anyone know of an #accessible text editor for Mac that can convert textfiles into audiofiles using the text-to-speech voices on your computer?
I know textedit can do this and I've indeed been using that for a long time, but I'm getting kinda tired of using it because you have to manually fish out the files from the music app/folder when you've created them.

Did you know JAWS has a built-in audio balance feature that is especially useful in PowerPoint? Press JAWS KEY+SPACE, V, B, then RIGHT or LEFT ARROW to route JAWS speech to one ear and presentation audio to the other, so you can clearly distinguish between the two.

Question for all my blind followers that have to test their blood sugar. Can you give me any tips on a good way to make sure the blood gets on the strip? I do have a talking meeter, but I've never done this before. Any pointers would be awesome.

Have y'all ever had that point in life where you feel like everything you touch turns into a project that takes far longer than intended? Today's exhibit, the damn Tovala meals. Opened them up, and found something leaking. After looking some more... great, the pork tenderloin popped open and was leaking juice. On top of that, the shells and cheese with marinara was also leaking. So, what was supposed to be just get meals out, put the select meat with them, and put them away turned into take pictures to get a refund for the opened product, wipe off the things that got juice all over them, and then finally put it all away. Ugh, that was not the plan! After that, I think whatever other stupid chores that were on the agenda suddenly are not. - Sam

#Scam #Alert: There's another wave of "Registration/Verification" scams going on right now. I've suspended several today.

Mastodon admins will *never* message you to go click links or other shit like that to fix/save/unblock/verify/etc your account.

Any account with variations on "helper", "notification", "verification", and so on in their name are almost certainly a scam.

Report them.

Not gonna lie, today is one of those struggling to find the motivation to get my lazy ass out of this bed. But, if I plan to get coffee, it'll have to happen sooner rather than later.

Ugh, forgot to thaw out the stuff for meals today. Now, it's either get creative or order. Option B sounds much better, but the bank account and/or credit cards would beg to differ. I really was looking forward to that buffalo chicken too and/or the shrimp and grits. - Summer

Those who hate football, it's your lucky weekend. It's the #Chiefs bye week. They need it bad too. They are already banged up, and it's still early in the season. - Sam

Friend of mine just got laid off after months of harassment and micromanagement by his shitty AI-loving boss.

Anyone in the US who could possibly help a full-stack .NET developer with 4 years of experience #GetFediHired, preferably remote? The constant berating and aggressive micromanagement has understandably taken a toll on their self-esteem and I'd like to prove there's a space in the software industry for them still.

Alright, that quesadilla was worth it, but it almost have too much filling. Not necessarily a complaint, but it did make it challenging to keep together to dip in the salsa and/or the queso blanco. Now, trying to decide if I want a margarita.

Finally got off my ass and cooked something. The quesadilla is in the oven. Thank you Tovala for what turned out to be very little work.

This house smells like caramel apple. Not sure if I want to thank or curse Scentsy. It smells great, but dammit now I want a caramel apple!
