Question for all my blind followers that have to test their blood sugar. Can you give me any tips on a good way to make sure the blood gets on the strip? I do have a talking meeter,but I've never done this before. Any pointers would be awesome.

@Lino0876 I can't get a cgm. she says that if my sugar really does drop quite a bit, she'll order me one. she wants me to do it this way for now.

@RaineyDay I found the easiest thing was to put a paper towel down, the reader with the strip protruding from it in the middle, then after locating the edge of the strip with my thumb prick my finger and apply gentle pressure around the prick site until the drop of blood welled-out.
I only ever did it a few times, my wife's the diabetic one and she's got a wearable CGM now.
