"Hush" (2016, dir. Mike Flanagan)
Recommended by the youngs in my fam, this was surprisingly tense, and it was only after the credits were rolled that I realised that it had a pedigree.

"Animals"(2026, dir. Ben Affleck)
Starting to realise that Ben Affleck kind of has a brand, and whatever he decides to tackle will be relatively deep and nuanced, even as it stays within a genre.
