Removed backtalk config to start over, and backtalk disabled itself, and I had to have sighted help to enable it again. Gemini stopped doing the turn on talkback action until I enabled it again. So not changing my stance that Android is for the power users anytime soon.
I'm really loving it lately, but seriously? That's what you thought clearing config means? How stupid. Resets the gestures for turning it on too like I don't think I want what Google is smoking. Should have thought this one through in my opinion. It is not expected that the screen reader gets disabled just because I want to clear config. That only means I want to start over.
@serrebi Oh shit, yeah if you disable your shortcut for both screen readers the only way out without sighted help is adb. Not backtalk's fault, but that sucks.
@TheQuinbox Even the google assistant method/gemini doesn't work until after you clear backtalk settings, you must turn on a screen reader first before they start working again. They need a default for this so I could get out of this situation.
@serrebi Nods, I'm not sure if that's something android actually lets me do, force set the shortcut to a default, but I'll investigate it.
