    Anyone else allergic to re-using the same starting word for any two paragraphs in the same piece of writing? I don't think anyone would notice, but I always think it automatically makes it sound repetitive.

    @hl yeah, I try to avoid it. If it happens, sure. But for the most part, nah.

    @hl I could see circumstances where it’s acceptable, but if it’s done frequently? I could see that being annoying. I could see multiple words at the start of each sentence being worse, though.

    I've heard that 'repetition legitimises', but perhaps you do too much of it, and people start wondering why you won't shut up about it.
