An email was sent around to let us know that a colleague who had been ill had sadly passed away. I accidentally laugh reacted on outlook and didn't realise for hours. It's definitely time for a new job, there's no recovering from that.

Still, yup, this was definitely a faux pas.
@fesshole Outlook for me will send a reaction (or do any number of other things) just due to the mouse cursor having been over a button at the point I start typing. If I saw a laugh on something like that, I'd be almost positive it was down to Microsoft.
